Fabric Upholstery

  • Regularly vacuum your fabric to lift dirt
  • Do not place furniture in direct sunlight as this can cause the colour to fade.
  • Regularly rotate or plump cushions to ensure even distribution of fill
  • For anything larger than spot cleaning we suggest using a professional service for the best results.

    Spot Cleaning

    • Treat spills as soon as possible
    • Use a damp cloth to gently dab and lift spills
    • For tough stains contact a professional cleaner
    • Always spot check fabric before cleaning

      Leather 

      • Wipe the leather weekly with a damp cloth to clean away dirt and help to protect the leather.
      • For stains we recommend contacting a professional cleaner
      • Leather will naturally soften over time

      Teak Wood Raw

      • Use a dry cloth to absorb spills straight away
      • You can oil or wax any of our raw teak pieces if you choose
      • Oiling and waxing your raw products will richen their colour and make them a little more robust against marks
      • Re-treat your timber every 6-12 months or as needed

        Teak Wood Waxed

        • Use a dry cloth to absorb spills straight away
        • Re-treat your timber every 6-12 months or as needed 

          Rattan

          • Wipe with a damp cloth when needed
          • To keep rattan hydrated we recommend spraying with water and wiping down with a damp cloth every 6-12 months

            Cane

            • Wipe with a damp cloth when needed

            Polished Brass

            • Our brass is not coated which means it will tarnish over time as the air oxidises it
            • You can polish back your brass with the product Brasso or if you prefer a natural method dissolve as much salt as you can in lemon juice then apply to brass with a flannel cloth

              Antiqued Brass, Chrome & Powder Coat

              • Wipe regularly with a damp cloth
              • We do not recommend using harsh cleaning products as this can damage the finish 

                Glazed Ceramic

                • Wipe regularly with a damp cloth to remove dirt. For tough marks or stains use a mild detergent

                Unglazed Ceramic

                • Use a microfiber cloth or duster to lightly dust the ceramic regularly to remove dust and dirt
